Afghan NGO’s Coordination Bureau (ANCB)
The Afghan NGOs Coordination Bureau (ANCB) is a non-political, non- sectarian, non-for-profit forum consisting of 350 Afghan member NGOs. It was established in 1991 and operative to function as an advocacy network to coordinate the activities of afghan NGOs with the Government, Donor agencies, civil society organizations, which are working towards emergency, rehabilitation activities, working for peace, alleviation of tension and crisis throughout Afghanistan. ANCB holds sector meetings among its members and civil society organization. It shares relevant information in weekly newsletter through Internet and hardcopies. It also publishes a quarterly magazine “Paiwastoon” and member organization directory yearly. ANCB carries out all its activities from its main office in Kabul, sub-office in Jalalabad and liaison office in Peshawar, Pakistan.
