The Yerevan Press Club (YPC) is a non-profit,
non-governmental organisation that unites journalists, publishers, media leaders
and experts, irrespective of their political ideas. Founded in July 1995 it
was the first professional association of journalists in Armenia, established
during the post-communist period. Objectives of the YPC include international
and regional cooperation between journalists and NGOs for peace and integration,
development of media legislation, establishment of conditions for a free,
responsible and professional media. The focus of YPC’s activities is on developing
the joint efforts for peacebuilding and integration in the South Caucasus.
